The quarterfinals of the 2025 Monte-Carlo Masters has wrapped up, and the semifinal matchups are set.
(No. 13) Lorenzo Musetti def. (No. 6) Stefanos Tsitsipas 1-6, 6-3, 6-4.
Lorenzo Musetti comes back from a set down to defeat defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas. Tsitsipas, a three-time Monte Carlo champion (2021, 2022, 2024), had a perfect 5–0 record against Musetti and looked headed for another win after dominating the first set 6–1. However, his serve fell apart as the match after the first set, making less than half of his first serves and only 8 of 28 in the final set. A double fault at 3–4 gave Musetti the break, and the Italian capitalized to take the next two sets 6–3, 6–4. Musetti advances to his first Monte Carlo semifinal, where he’ll face Alex de Minaur.

(No. 8) Alex de Minaur def. (No. 15) Grigor Dimitrov 6-0, 6-0
Alex de Minaur earned the first ATP-level “double bagel” of his career with a one-sided 6–0, 6–0 win over Grigor Dimitrov in just 44 minutes. Dimitrov was completely out of rhythm, winning only 15 points across both sets and hitting just one winner in the match. He also committed 23 unforced errors, compared to just 8 from de Minaur. With the win, de Minaur reaches his first clay-court semifinal in three years and will face Lorenzo Musetti next.
