Week 16 of the 2025 NFL season kicked off Thursday night with a pivotal NFC West matchup between the Rams and Seahawks. Seattle converted two two-point attempts in overtime to secure the win and move into the NFC’s No. 1 seed with two weeks remaining in the regular season.

Saturday’s slate opened with the Eagles clinching their second straight NFC East title with a win over the Commanders. The second game delivered one of the season’s most dramatic finishes, as the Bears stormed back to earn an overtime win over the Packers, who lost quarterback Jordan Love to a concussion during the game.

Sunday’s early window featured several divisional changes. The Panthers moved into first place in the NFC South with a win over the Buccaneers. The Bills stay on track to claim the AFC East title with a win over the Browns, while the Giants fell to 2–13 after a loss to the Vikings, keeping them in position for the No. 1 overall draft pick. In Kansas City’s first game without Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs were blown out by the Titans and lost quarterback Gardner Minshew to a torn ACL just three plays into the game.

In the late window, the Jaguars stunned the Broncos defense behind four touchdown passes from Trevor Lawrence. The Steelers held onto their AFC North lead after a penalty wiped out the Lions’ potential game-winning touchdown on fourth-and-goal. On Sunday Night Football, the Patriots erased a late deficit to defeat the Ravens.

Week 16 concluded on Monday night with the 49ers defeating the Colts.
