The 2025 NFL regular season concluded Sunday, officially setting the playoff field ahead of the Wild Card round, which begins Jan. 10.
In the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks secured the conference’s No. 1 seed with a win over the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday. San Francisco finished as the No. 6 seed, while the Los Angeles Rams claimed the No. 5 spot with a Sunday win over the Arizona Cardinals. The Chicago Bears lost to the Detroit Lions, but still locked up the No. 2 seed after the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Washington Commanders, leaving Philadelphia at No. 3.
The Carolina Panthers won the NFC South and the No. 4 seed despite a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, helped by the Atlanta Falcons’ win over the New Orleans Saints. The Green Bay Packers were already locked into the No. 7 seed and remained there following their loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
In the AFC, the Denver Broncos clinched the No. 1 seed by defeating the Los Angeles Chargers, while the New England Patriots earned the No. 2 seed with a win over the Miami Dolphins. The Jacksonville Jaguars secured the No. 3 seed by beating the Tennessee Titans.
Pittsburgh won the AFC North title and the No. 4 seed with a Sunday night win over the Baltimore Ravens. The Houston Texans earned the No. 5 seed by defeating the Indianapolis Colts, the Buffalo Bills took the No. 6 seed with a win over the New York Jets, and the Chargers rounded out the field as the No. 7 seed following their loss in Denver.
