2025 NFL Week 7 Recap

Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season kicked off on Thursday night with an AFC North matchup between two 40-year-old quarterbacks — the Steelers’ Aaron Rodgers and the Bengals’ Joe Flacco. Flacco delivered his best performance yet as a Bengal, throwing for 342 yards and three touchdowns. He led a game-winning drive capped by Evan McPherson’s 36-yard field goal with seven seconds remaining, giving Cincinnati a dramatic 30-27 win and Flacco his first win with the team.

Sunday’s games began in London for the second straight week, where the Rams dominated the Jaguars behind a dominant performance from Matthew Stafford, who threw five touchdown passes. Back in the United States, the Patriots extended their winning streak to four games with a win over the Titans. The Chiefs shut out the Raiders 31-0 in wide receiver Rashee Rice’s season debut following a six-game suspension. The Eagles also bounced back from consecutive losses, defeating the Vikings.

In the late window, the Colts improved to 6-1 with a win over the Chargers, while the Cowboys returned to form with a dominant win against the Commanders. The Broncos pulled off the comeback of the season, scoring all 33 of their points in the fourth quarter to stun the Giants in a 33-32 thriller.

On Sunday night, the 49ers defeated the Falcons behind a dominant performance from Christian McCaffrey, who rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns while adding 72 receiving yards.
