The Nike Air Force 1 “Linen” is one of the most sought-after and iconic colorways in the history of the Air Force 1 line. Originally released in 2001 through Nike’s CO.JP (Concept Japan) collection as a Japan-exclusive release, the “Linen” quickly became a grail among sneaker collectors worldwide.
The sneaker was brought back for the first time in 2016 through a collaboration with Kith as an exclusive release to celebrate the opening of Kith’s flagship store in Miami. It was re-released again in 2024 as part of Nike’s “Cult Classics” collection. Both the 2016 and 2024 versions retained the original design, preserving the sneaker’s status as a cult classic. The Nike Air Force 1 “Linen” will return again in March 2025, this time featuring a linen canvas upper instead of the original leather construction.
The original “Linen” features a soft tan leather upper accented by a light pink Swoosh and a matching pink outsole. The warm tan tones are balanced by the pink accents, giving the sneaker a timeless and versatile look. The full leather upper elevates the sneaker’s quality, making it more premium compared to conventional Air Force 1 pairs. The upcoming 2025 release will maintain the original colorway but replaces the leather upper with a linen canvas upper, offering a twist on the classic design.
The Nike Air Force 1 “Linen” remains one of the most iconic and coveted Air Force 1 colorways, continuing to be highly sought after due to its rich history and exclusivity. The Nike Air Force 1 Low Canvas “Linen” will release on Nike SNKRS and at select Nike retailers on March 20, 2025 for a retail price of $130.
