In 2023, Audemars Piguet partnered with rapper Travis Scott to create a highly exclusive Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar “Cactus Jack” Limited Edition, crafted in chocolate brown ceramic. Limited to just 200 pieces and retailing for $201,000, the watch marked the debut of a brown colorway for the openworked Royal Oak QP, blending high horology with Scott’s signature creative style.
Measuring 41mm, the case is paired with white gold hexagonal screws and a sapphire dial that reveals the skeletonized Calibre 5135 movement. The design combines rhodium toned components with warm pink gold accents, showcasing both technical mastery and visual depth. The calendar and week indications use typography inspired by Travis Scott’s own hand drawn designs, while the hand of the day subdial takes the form of the Cactus Jack logo.
The most striking detail lies in the moonphase display at six o’clock. Instead of the traditional depiction of the moon, Audemars Piguet replaced it with Cactus Jack’s distinctive smiley face, complete with stitched mouth. In the dark, the luminous material creates a bold contrast, with the moonphase glowing blue while the other calendar indications, except the week indicator, glow green.
The watch also includes a textured calfskin leather strap, marking a first for this complication. The strap is secured by a pink gold folding clasp engraved with the double signatures of Audemars Piguet and Travis Scott.
