In Sunday’s early window, Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons recorded two sacks in a win over the Vikings. The Lions erased a double digit deficit to beat the Giants in overtime, while the Chiefs also needed overtime to defeat the Colts and stay alive in the playoff race. The Ravens earned their fifth straight win, getting above .500 for the first time this season with a win over the Jets. In Chicago, Caleb Williams threw three touchdowns to lift the Bears past the Steelers, with Aaron Rodgers sidelined by a broken left wrist.
In the late window, Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders impressed in his first career start, beating the Raiders and becoming the first Cleveland quarterback to win his debut since Eric Zeier in 1995. The Falcons snapped a five game losing streak with a win over the Saints, as Kirk Cousins made his second start of the year. In Dallas, the Cowboys stormed back with 24 unanswered points to defeat the Eagles.
Philadelphia’s loss gave the Rams an opening to climb into position for the top seed in the NFC, which they capitalized on with a Sunday night win over the Buccaneers. Tampa Bay quarterback Baker Mayfield suffered a shoulder injury and did not return in the second half.
The week wrapped up on Monday night, as the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Carolina Panthers to close out Week 12.
