2025 NFL Week 15 Recap

Week 15 of the 2025 NFL season opened Thursday night with an NFC South matchup between the Falcons and Buccaneers. Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. scored three touchdowns, and Atlanta sealed the win on a time-expiring field goal.

Sunday’s early window featured several notable storylines. The Eagles rebounded from a five-turnover performance the previous week, snapping a three-game losing streak with a shutout win over the Raiders. The Bengals and Chiefs were eliminated from playoff contention following losses to the Ravens and Chargers, respectively. Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes exited late in the fourth quarter with a season-ending torn ACL in his left knee.

The Bills erased a 21-point deficit to deny the Patriots a chance to clinch the AFC East title and remain in the divisional race. In the NFC East, the Commanders snapped an eight-game losing streak with a win over the Giants. The Bears defeated the Browns to secure their first 10-win season since 2018.

The late window brought playoff implications. The Rams and Broncos clinched postseason berths with wins over the Lions and Packers, respectively. Green Bay suffered significant losses in the third quarter, as edge rusher Micah Parsons tore his left ACL and wide receiver Christian Watson exited with a chest injury. The 49ers and Seahawks also earned wins, with Seattle defeating the Colts in 44-year-old Philip Rivers’ first start in five years. In another NFC South matchup, the Saints beat the Panthers on a late field goal.

Sunday Night Football saw the Vikings defeat the Cowboys, and Week 15 wrapped up on Monday night with the Steelers ending the Dolphins’ four-game winning streak.
