Jordan Brand is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1 this year with the release of another colorway from the Fragment Design and Travis Scott collaboration on the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. This marks the second Fragment Design x Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low and follows the widely popular releases from 2021.
First seen on Fragment founder Hiroshi Fujiwara courtside during an NBA game in 2022, the sneaker features a premium white leather upper with Fragment’s signature Military Blue accents on the reversed Swoosh and heel tab. Aged Sail tones appear on the tongue and midsole, contributing to a neo-vintage aesthetic. The Wings logo is stitched on the heel, while Cactus Jack and Fragment branding are split across the left and right heels. Minimal black text along the midsole references the coded labeling style often used in Fragment collaborations.
The main detail of the design remains Travis Scott’s recognizable reversed Swoosh in Fragment’s signature Military Blue, merging three highly influential forces in sneaker culture: Jordan Brand, Fragment Design, and Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack.
The collaboration will debut the sneaker at a special event in Yokohama, Japan on November 7 titled Hijacked: A Tokyo Bay Takeover, where locals will receive exclusive early access. A wider release is expected to follow later in the month in the United States via a raffle on Travis Scott’s website and the Nike SNKRS app.
