Dolphins’ QB Tua Tagovailoa Suffers Another Scary Concussion (Sports)

September 12, 2024

The Miami Dolphins played their first divisional game this season against the Buffalo Bills, and were completely blown out at home in a 10-31 loss. However, the team’s struggles throughout the game don’t matter right now as their franchise QB Tua Tagovailoa suffered his fourth concussion in two seasons. Tagovailoa missed 5 games in 2022 because of concussions, and this is a huge concern because he is faced with the same situation to start off this season.

I’m not a pro-athlete, but I’m not too sure why he would dive forward instead of sliding especially with him comfortably getting the first down. The injury looks pretty severe, and retirement talks for Tagovailoa are being brought up to protect his future off the football field.

Tagovailoa has shown that he can be a franchise QB, but that honestly doesn’t matter because these concussion injuries are bigger than football.
