FXAIX vs VOO (Finance)
August 3, 2024
FXAIX stands for “Fidelity 500 Index Fund” and VOO stands for “Vanguard S&P 500 ETF.” Both of these are essentially the same thing as they both include the 500 stocks in the S&P 500.
The main difference is that you can buy and sell ETF shares throughout the trading day, and you can only buy and sell Index Funds at the end of each training day.
I personally use Fidelity as my main investment platform, so FXAIX is what I have been investing in.
