Inception (2010)

Inception (2010) is a gnarly sci-fi movie directed by Christopher Nolan. The movie follows Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio), a thief who specializes in stealing secrets by entering people’s dreams. Cobb is offered a chance to have his criminal record erased if he is able to perform “inception” (planting an idea into someone’s subconscious) on Robert Fischer (Cillian Murphy) who is a powerful businessman.

Throughout the movie Cobb leads a team of “inception” specialists to navigate through multiple layers of dreams, and as they get into deeper dreams Cobb faces his own personal guilt and memories that treaten the mission and blur the lines between dreams and actual reality.

The movie is really entertaining, and the visual effects are stunning. The movie goes get pretty confusing at certain points, but is a little easier to understand compared to other Christopher Nolan movies.
