World No. 2 Jeeno Thitikul from Thailand won the Mizuho Americas Open on Sunday by four shots, shooting a bogey-free 3-under 69 in the final round to finish at 17-under 271. Her win in Jersey City, New Jersey, is her first LPGA title of the season and her first since the CME Group Tour Championship last November.
Thitikul outplayed France’s Celine Boutier, who entered the final round just one stroke behind. Boutier, looking for her first win since a breakout 2023 season that included four titles—highlighted by back-to-back wins at the Evian Championship and Women’s Scottish Open—struggled with three bogeys en route to an even-par 72. She finished the tournament at 13-under 275.
Meanwhile, World No. 1 Nelly Korda remains winless on the year. After staying within one shot of Thitikul early in the final round, a bogey at the par-4 ninth derailed her momentum. Korda was unable to recover, posting two more bogeys on the back nine without any birdies, ultimately falling out of contention.
