New York Jets’ Garrett Wilson Makes All-Time Great Catch (Sports)
October 31, 2024
The New York Jets have been a struggling team for most of the season, but they were able to snap a five game losing streak with a 21-13 win over a strong Houston Texans team.
Play of the game was Garrett Wilson’s one handed 26-yard go-ahead touchdown catch on 3rd and 19 early in the fourth quarter. Wilson jumped up and reached for the ball with his right hand with both legs spread in the air (looking like Michael Jordan’s “Jumpman” logo) and was able to stay inbounds. The play was initially ruled as an incomplete pass, but after a video review, it was confirmed that his shin was down in the endzone, and the called was overturned to a touchdown.
