Patek Philippe’s Nautilus Ref. 5711 Returns as a Piece Unique for Charity (Lifestyle)
November 10, 2024
Patek Philippe’s refrerence 5711 Nautilus has been one of the most desirable watches since its introduction in 2006. The 5711 Nautilus was discontinued by Patek a couple years ago, but the steel watch returns as a hand-engraved piece unique that will be auctioned off on November 25, 2023 at the Children Action Gala based out of Geneva.
Children Action was established in 1994 and aims to leave a positive impact on the lives of impoverished children around the world. The event is a biannual fundraising event that includes auction items. Patek has supported Children Action in the past and have offered other piece unique watches for auction in the past as well.
The 5711 Nautilus up for auction has a case, bezel, bracelet, and caseback all hand-engraved with a “Māori-inspired” design. This is also the first Nautilus, Patek Philippe sports watch, and steel watch from any brand with an engraved case.
