Union Los Angeles has announced the release date for its third iteration of its 2018 collaboration with Jordan Brand, once again blending two original Air Jordan 1 colorways with a handmade aesthetic and pre-aged details. The original Union x Air Jordan 1, released in 2018, was one of the most sought-after sneakers of its time and has since become one of the most coveted pairs in recent history, with prices on the secondary market ranging between $1,500 and $2,000.
The 2018 collection featured two iconic mashups of original Jordan 1 colorways: one combined the lower half of the “Black Toe” with the ankle collar from the “Neutral Grey,” while the other paired the lower half of the “Storm Blue” with the ankle collar from the “Bred.” In 2023, Union revisited the Air Jordan 1 with a full “Neutral Grey” colorway, incorporating a Nike Footscape-inspired woven detail running across the entire shoe.
For 2025, Union returns to the concept from its 2018 collection, this time fusing the lower half of the “Chicago” colorway with the ankle collar from the “Shadow” colorway, creating another unique take on the classic silhouette.
The Union Los Angeles x Air Jordan 1 and its accompanying apparel collection will release exclusively through Union on February 27, 2025, at 8:00 AM PST via www.unionjordan2025.com, with the sneakers retailing for $200.
